I Just Don't Think So

Last night while watching CNN or something like it (yes, thank you, I watch that sometimes...when Kev asks me to stop on channel 42 while on my way to 45 which is HGTV), the presidential candidates were being tallied up or something like that.

Ok, so far it seems like I don't know what I'm talking about. But I do! CNN was showing how the peeps are doing in the recent voting. Anyway, the familiar names were flashing across the screen:

"Obama 64%" "Clinton 36%" "McCain 29%" "Romney 68 %" "Paul 3%" etc...

I was like... hmmm. Paul? Paul can't be president. I cannot say "President Paul" with a straight face. He has two first names. That bugs me. For that reason alone he cannot be president. Never mind that he only has 3% of any votes in any state. I just... I think of Kev's friend Paul (who is kinda also my friend too and he works with me now) and every time I think "President Paul" I'm like... Paul can't be president. It's very distracting. I don't know anything about the real presidential hopeful named Paul, but really. President Paul? No, thank you.

But if my friend Paul was president... Mountain Dew would become the National Beverage and everyone would listen to amazing music all the time. Plus, Paul has a real last name. So there'd be none of this fluffy alliteration stuff like "President Paul." And Kev would be at the White House all the time climbing walls and hiding in secret rooms, having the time of his life.

I guess that wouldn't be too bad.
