March Madness Continues

By the way, this month I'm doing the NaBloPoMo challenge to post a list every day. I'm going to try to keep up creativity, promise.

Today's list will feature me and Kev. Oh-so-creative, yes? Ha.

What is your name? Livia Senese (Wright) Taylor

What is his name? Kevin Troy Taylor

How long have you been married? 1 year, 8+ months

How long did you date? 1 year

Who said I love you first? Kev

Who kissed who first? Kev kissed me on a playground on 41st St.

Who asked who out? We sat down (on swings) and talked about dating exclusively after a few random get-togethers with friends we had in common. So it was... mutual? It's hard to explain.

Who proposed? Kev, at the top of Waterfall Canyon.

Who eats more sweets? KEV. He lives on sugar. Seriously.

Who is older? Kev is 25, I'm 23.

Who is taller? Kev

Who is smarter? We both are smarties. We just know different things.

Who can sing better? I would say me, but only because I'm singing all the time.

Who does the laundry? We both do, although I usually end up folding everything.

Who pays the bills? Kev doesn't really have any bills. Sometimes he pays my bills for me.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Eh, depends on how you look at the bed. I sleep on Kev's right side.

Who mows the lawn? We don't have one yet. *sniff sniff*

Who cooks dinner? Me

Who drives? We both do. I like to let Kev drive at night though because I'm pretty blind, even with contacts.

Who has more siblings? Kev has more natural siblings (4), but I have 3 plus 2 step-siblings.

Who wears the pants? I'm a control freak.

Y'know what else?

Kev is way more patient than I am. He also has a million more hobbies- guitar, drums, rock climbing, hiking, skateboarding, cars, paintball, reading, investing... those are just the first that come to mind. He does the majority of those things on a regular basis. As for me...well, I go to Yoga twice a week. And I read a lot. Woo, exciting :)

Whenever my car needs fixing, he just goes right out and buys the parts for me. Even before we were married. It was such a relief back then especially. I knew he'd just take care of it and that he'd let me pay him back through my actions later- dinner, sitting through "boy" movies, getting married and having his babies (I think I owe him like, 12 by now).

Kev has a million freckles. Don't ask me how such a tan-able person with dark hair can be so freckly, but I love it. Me, I'm just translucent and freckle-less. It's sad.

We have an unofficial rule that Maddie can sleep with us on weekends because we don't have to get up super early like during the week. But sometimes we look at that cute little face and just let her slip under the covers on a Wednesday and snuggle in. I think she has us wrapped around her little finger/talon. I really try to be strong, but she is so freakin cute. Sometimes Kev will finish up brushing his teeth and ask where Maddie is. I blatantly lie and tell him I have no idea. then he'll come into our bedroom and see us spooning. He just laughs at me. The great thing is that if we tell Maddie "it's bedtime" she will trot right into her kennel and lay down. She is so freakin smart.

So that's just a little bit more about us, list-style. Stay tuned as I try to keep forming interesting lists this month! I may just have to grab some ideas from Andi's list blog.
