Pink Floyd and the Pink House

After Kev and I closed on our house, we went to The Pink Floyd Experience at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.

The performance wasn't as great as Australian Pink Floyd, but it was still wicked fun.

We still haven't bought a replacement camera, so all the photos (woo, 3!!) are from a cell phone. My apologies. It still made for a pretty cool effect though.

This green light was shining in my face for at least 2 full minutes. So I took a photo to share what it was like for me.

I know it's difficult to tell what's going on here, but I just loved the colors in real life. It didn't transfer well. But it does show you how close we were (with our free tickets!!)

And of course, the infamous Pink Floyd pig. He was a happy fella.

Like I've said before, I just love going with Kev to things he enjoys. The look on his face is priceless when he's singing along to one of his favorite bands, or watching a talented climber present a slideshow from his latest trip to Kashimer. He's like a kid in a candy shop (bad analogy though because he gets over-excited in candy shops too and he's 25).

Anyway, it was a fun night out, and it served as a celebration for the new house.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, YES Kev did carry me over the threshold the first time we walked in as the pink house's official owners. Ain't he sweet?
