Wonder of Wonders

Seems I'm full of musicals this week. Did you know that I constantly find myself humming bits of musicals each and every day? Usually it's while I'm waiting for my glamorous lunch to heat up in the microwave at work. The problem is that I only remember a few lines from most musicals I've seen. So they repeat during the 2-minute cook cycle of a Hot Pocket. It's fun.

Anyway. The point of this post is supposed to be how great it is to teach Pilates (did you know that I rewrote that sentence so it didn't end with a preposition? I do that a lot too). To be precise, teaching Pilates makes me feel less like a crazy person. That's huge. HUGE. Because I usually feel like a crazy person trapped in a padded cell for at least 3/4 of my day.

Thank you, Pilates.

And sorry to those of you who interact with me on a daily basis during the 3/4 of my day when I feel crazy.

  2. Two things:
First, you are a better English major than I. I love to write, but hate the rules. In fact, I'm not going to place a period at the end of this sentence

Second, I love show tunes too. For some reason I always get stuck on the songs from "Oklahoma". Because with me, it's all or nothin'. Is it all or nothin' with you?

  3. OKLAHOMA!! Love it. I sing that one a lot too. I'm so glad my mom got me into musicals. They're so happy.

As for the rules... I think I'm give and take. But right now, I'm at the point where if I hear or see one more person do this: "This is a picture of Sally and I" or "Send an email to Sally and I" I WILL SCREAM.

I just cringe when I think of taking away the other person's name in sentences like that and I hear "This is a picture of I" or "Send an email to I" in my head. That is not right.
