What's in a name, you ask?

I found a website through How About Orange that brought a smile to my face.

All my life, I've never ever been able to get personalized items (keychains, mugs, little license plates, you name it) because my name is different. The only time I've ever had anything with my name on it was when my parents bought a teeny tiny mug and scraped the "O" off of the name "Olivia." Also, Ashley bought me a hand-carved keychain that spells out "Livia," but she had to have it made just for me.

Well, this webiste, What a Lovely Name, will allow you to pick or suggest a name and have it put on merchandise offered by the website.

I'm not going to fill the void of my youth by purchasing merchandise splattered with my name now, but it's nice to know that I could. If I wanted to.

Or if Kev and I decide to give weird names to our kids, we can go here to get them personalized junk.

Exciting!

  2. I feel your pain. I could never find those things spelled "Alissa". They were always "Alyssa" or "Alisa".

  3. I always had that problem too - My boyfriends mum ordered me a mug with my name on it to cheer me up - it worked!
