It's not good that I can barely lift my left arm.

I have been sick since August 3rd.

With said sickness, I've flown across the country twice, thrown up on the JFK tarmac once, ferried around the Atlantic, frolicked on an island in the rain, walked dogs in Maine woods, gone to work for almost two weeks and have finally hit my breaking point.

I started antibiotics for my walking pneumonia yesterday. Today I felt like dying. I "slept" on the couch again (which means I woke up every two hours to cough myself silly) and finally got up at 6:30 with a sharp pain on the left side of my ribcage. I can't reach my left arm over my head without intensifying that pain. Another development: sinus pressure.

I left work about an hour and a half early today. I also asked to have tomorrow off. That means this is serious. I ALWAYS work when I'm sick. It wasn't until I was close to leaving my old job that I decided to take advantage of sick days when I didn't feel well. But now I'm in a brand-new job with so much to learn and I don't want to fall behind. I also have to get through the last bit of homework and start studying to take my sales agent exam before October.

Needless to say, I'm freaking out. I feel like junk and have so much to do. But I can't do. Because I can't breathe. I can't lift my arm. I can't lay down. I can't sleep.

Did you know I'm a really big whiner when I'm sick?
