I was so happy to come home today.

I had a number of packages and letters waiting for me when I got home. There was a letter from a woman in my ward who wanted to thank me for singing in church on Sunday in a trio of girls. It was so kind of her to send a note my way when it was my pleasure to sing.

A small package with more jewelry-making supplies also arrived and I can hardly contain myself. I want to get started right away on some new necklaces for my shop!

Another small package came from Mary, who is one of my favorite blog friends. We don't even know each other in real life, although we have a friend in common (thanks Kris!). Mary sent me this beautiful necklace because she understands that I'm still mourning the loss of my favorite Phoenix necklace.

Last night Zjani gave me a "thank you" gift that made me want to give her a gift in return. She is another amazingly talented friend I'm blessed to know.

I really needed these special gifts because after I opened every single one, Kev and I had some things to discuss that aren't fun.

Many thanks to everyone who was thinking of me this week. Your gifts made it a littler easier to face another challenge. I know they're just material things, but it helps to know Kev and I are not here alone. We know we have many friends and family members who love us.

Thank you.
