Kev tried to get me to use a cane in Wal-Mart but I'm not coordinated enough.

Last November I went to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine. This November I'm going to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in old lady hips.

Ok, not specifically old lady hips, but that's what I feel like I have.

On Monday afternoon I get to go through the ringer once again and get poked, prodded and probably x-rayed to see what is wrong in my hip joint. Kev says now is the best time if I have to have hip surgery. We don't have any kids, and he's unemployed. Which translates into him being available to take care of me and me being free from having to take care of anyone else. Let's look on the bright side!

Still. Hip surgery. Doesn't sound like fun. And the laying around for weeks afterward? That doesn't sound like fun either. What would I do during recovery?

I'm getting ahead of myself. I don't even know if surgery is required. Someone please keep reminding me to take deep breaths.

  1. Yuck! I hope they figure it out and can help you! And if you do have to have surgery, blogging is always a good past time. :)

  2. Even I do not have enough to say to keep myself occupied via blogging for weeks of bedrest!

Thanks for stopping by!
