A little family history

Before Kev, Maddie and I went to the parkway last Sunday, we visited the cemetery on 20th and Monroe. It's where both sets of Kev's grandparents are buried. I don't know why, but I've had an interest in seeing them since he told me they're buried right here in Ogden.

I'm impressed Kev was able to locate the burial sites so quickly. It's been many years since he visited. All of his grandparents passed away in the 90s, so he didn't get to know them very well. It makes me feel badly for him since I have a lot of great memories of my grandparents, even the ones I don't see anymore.

It reminded me once again how important family is. I am so grateful for the family I have and how close we are. We talk frequently and those of us in Utah get together often to enjoy time with one another. I'm pretty lucky.

The only bad experience Kev and I had at the cemetery last week was the moment the back of my Holga camera fell off. Yup. I had 2 frames left on the roll and the back just popped off. Awesome.

Here's to hoping I don't waste $30 on developing the film only to find it's all overexposed and ruined.
