Go now, grasshopper.

There's a woman in my ward who is not only a wonderful singer herself, but is a teacher in the music department at WSU.

She sang in an ensemble while I was pregnant and I told Kev I'd like it if she sang while I was giving birth so I'd have something nice to focus on while laboring with child. Her voice is that beautiful.

Imagine my delight and horror when she approached me about singing a duet with her for a Christmas party our ward is having in December.

When she asked me, I told her flat-out I'm very intimidated to sing with her, but I'd love to do it anyway.

At least when she realizes I can't read music she'll be able to teach me how.

  1. Really? Who is that? I'm excited to hear you both sing! And I LOVE your voice! I would be intimidated to sing with you! And I've been in choirs all my life.

  2. You have an awesome voice! Good luck!!

  3. I'll be singing with Sis Brookens. I absolutely LOVE her voice. She teaches RS quite often and is super super cute.

  4. Good for you, don't let fear squash your light. You must be good if she wants to sing with you.

  5. I don't want to miss that! You both have gorgeous voices! When are singing?

  6. omg, Liv! Remember when we sang a duet of Silent Night in church? I felt the same way about you! You have a natural gift. I felt like I had to work hard to be able to stand beside you. I wish I could be there to hear you sing. xoxo

Thanks for stopping by!
