One Fish, Two Fish, Three Four Five!

The day after Thanksgiving, we made a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium. I've never been, so we didn't know what to expect. I'd heard it was kind of small, but when you consider the target audience in our group, it was PERFECT.

There could have been more at Aspen's eye-level, but for the most part she saw everything. Whether on my hip, hijacking Little's stroller, or walking by herself, Aspen made the rounds and saw sea stars, fish, penguins and more.

I can't believe how vibrant the South American frogs are. They looked like plastic toys. I especially loved the bright blue ones. So cute.

I have a Groupon for discounted admission to the Penguin Encounter and I'm really thrilled about that. Aspen was so into those birds. When we visited them last week, it was right before feeding time so they were all over the place in the enclosure. Aspen couldn't pick her jaw up off the floor while we were there.

The Aquarium is staying put for about a year, and then in November 2012 it's closing to move to a new location. The artist's rendering is amazing; it's going to be an actual aquarium in the future, instead of just a converted grocery store. If it wasn't so far from us in Ogden, I'd totally buy a membership.

  1. Looks like fun! Your pictures are awesome, I love the little ones expressions. I bet they had a blast.

  2. I've been wanting to go, sounds like you had a fun time & that groupon you got will be a lot of fun.

  3. I would buy a membership too. It has to be one of the cheapest memberships I've ever seen. It is a really cool place too. Aspen is so adorable in the pictures.

  4. my brother and SIL took most of these photos, so i have them to thank for the memories. my camera decided to stop focusing. boooo.

Thanks for stopping by!
