Tiny table for a tiny tot.

Eating outside offers pros and cons. PRO: There is no tantrum. CON: There is little eating. I'm willing to choose my battle here, though. Why should we waste a beautiful day on tears and fits inside? Instead, we'll just do our best to eat something so we can get back into the swing ASAP.

Also, how cute is Aspen sitting at her little table in the backyard? On Saturday it was tucked away in a corner of the yard, doing no good to no body. Aspen asked me to haul it out so she could climb on it and yell "MY TABLE!" repeatedly. Cute as a button, if I do say so myself.

We've enjoyed a few meals outside since then, and it really is worth the compromise of eating very little. That's what snacks are for, right? Right! Even if those snacks are bananas that baby brings to Mama while Mama is in the shower.

I'm still not sick of that darn swing yet. Although you'd think by now I'd hate it. At least twice a day we stroll into the backyard and Aspen will spend 10 minutes or so swinging and singing. It makes her happy, and it keeps her contained. What's not to love?
