Mama Style

This summer I fell in love with colored denim. Like I've mentioned before, I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing jeans on a regular basis. But it is important to make sure they're a good pair of jeans. They don't have to be neon pink, but maybe they could be? Look for large back pockets to flatter your bum, and please mind the gap (at both waist and crotch).

It can be hard to find a style that flatters your shape, but it's worth the hunt. And when you do, why not try various washes? I don't know what possessed me to be bold and purchase red, pink and orange jeans this summer, but I'm glad I did. They instantly make me feel more fun than if I had stuck with a dark wash, and they're just as versatile. Of course, spills show up a LOT more readily on hot pink jeans, but it's nothing a little Dawn dish soap can't remedy.

Have you tried colored denim yet? Or corduroys? I think that will be my next step since I recently gave away the two pairs of corduroy pants I used to own. They just never fit right after Aspen was born.

If you need more colored pants inspiration, come back later today to see what Jess has to say. "Crazy pants" might become a new term in fashion, thanks to her!

  1. Love the pink jeans! I also have found a love for colored denim, but haven't run across the right pink pair yet.

Thanks for stopping by!
