Quick and easy grilled asparagus

When Kev and I were dating, we went to Rooster's in Ogden and I distinctly remember having delicious asparagus and mashed potatoes (long before my lactose intolerance) as a side dish and realizing how much I love this stinky veggie.

I've made these grilled asparagus spears in the past, and they're so easy it's silly to share a "recipe" for them. But, maybe you've never thought of grilling asparagus before? Or maybe you've never tried preparing them this way before?

Here's what you'll need:

fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Prepare an aluminum foil "pan" to place over your grill. This will keep the olive oil in a nice little puddle when you grill the spears. Arrange your spears, drizzle the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill until soft, and/or slightly charred (probably about 10 minutes depending on the heat of your grill).

THERE YOU GO. They really are that simple. Now go try it!

  1. Thank you can't wait to try this :)

  2. I love grilled asparagus! Have you ever put honey on it before grilling? Trust me, try it. It's the BEST! (Use salt and pepper as well!)

Thanks for stopping by!
