I recently added to Aspen's gallery wall, and it was weirdly difficult. I've really liked it as is, but over the last year I kept coming across more prints and photos that I wanted to display. So I finally took the plunge and started hammering holes in the wall.
It's the one part of her room I still have "control" over, and I'm relieved. Aspen tried to tell me where to put things, but I told her it was my project and asked her to hand me tools to distract her attention and make her feel useful.
I still need to get used to the change, but I think I like it. And let's be honest, what I'm really doing is procrastinating the gallery wall I keep saying I'm going to create by the stairs.
